Hayati Yazıcı
Hayati Yazıcı is Minister of State, responsible for coordination between the Government and the Parliament, and Chair of the Coordination Board of Istanbul 2010 European Capital of Culture Agency. A co-founder of the Justice and Development Party (AKP) and Vice-Chairman of the AKP, he was elected MP for Istanbul and named as Deputy Prime Minister in 2007. He graduated from the School of Law at Istanbul University in 1975 and served as a judge in several towns, before beginning a career as freelance lawyer in 1984.
